Sedma

Sedma is an unusual game that is widely played in Eastern Europe (e.g. Hungary, Slovakia, and Czech Republic). It is unusual, in that the suits play no role, and a trick may go around the table multiple times before finally being won by the last player to play a card equal to the original ‘lead card’ or a seven. This gives the lowest cards (the 7s) a powerful role in play, and gives the game its name, Sedma, which means ‘seven’.

About this app:
This app plays cards on top of the other cards already in the trick. When we play our cards to the table, we do it in a way that means you can always see all the cards in the trick at all times.

Also this app offers the variations ‘burnt in hand’ and ‘burnt on table’. Leave these unchecked as we don’t play these variations at Brisbane Cards.

Finally, this app offers Czech or Hungarian cards, but not standard international ones. The Czech and Hungarian cards are interesting and easy to get used to. There is an android app that plays Sedma with an international deck, but the app is not very good at all.
