Schieber Jass is a Swiss Jass game for 4 players in partnerships. The name Schieber, means ‘shove’, and refers to the act of passing the responsibility for calling the game to one’s partner. An unusual feature of Schieber Jass, is that one is free to play a trump at any time, even if they can follow the lead suit.
