Ulti is a highly entertaining card game from Hungary. Players can take the two-card kitty, discard two cards and announce a bid that consists of a number of ‘feats’ that they will try to achieve in the hand. The other players in turn can then pick up the first player’s discards and announce their own new combination of feats with a higher total value. This often continues a number of times until all three players pass in succession. The player whose combination of feats has the greatest value wins the bidding and plays alone against the other two players for that hand.
